Teiaş Communication Requirements:

TEIAS Communication requirements are official articles prepared and submitted to the companies by Teaiş belonging to the communication systems of centers such as HES, RES, JES, DGÇS, OSB to be connected to Teiaş with 154 kV or 380 kV lines to be made within the scope of the connection agreement. Communication Requirements article is a technical article describing the communication system between the new center and the center to be connected, the capacity and the technical characteristics of the devices to be installed. In addition, this article describes individually the components of the Kramportor system to be installed if the RTU system is not OPGW, which will be taken to which freight deposit center of the 64 kbps rental line, where telephone communication with PAX or remote subscriber will be provided.

Within the scope of TEİAŞ communication requirements, communication consists of the following topics: Communication of RTU and PAX devices, OPGW Communication, Kramportor Communication, where communication is provided via Türk Telekom rental line. For RTU and PAX communication, the PAX device is installed in the relevant switchgear as requested in the communication requirements of TEİAŞ. The PAX device must be compatible with the PAX device in YTM and communication is made via the rental line. The speed of the leased line is 64 Kbps, but the speech channel from Pax is compressed on multiplexer and occupies a band of 12 kbps, and the RTu's channel is 19,200. Multiplexer combines these two channels and transmits them to YTM via the rental line. Multiplexer in YTM opens these incoming channels and gives them to the system as audio and data. RTU devices over the leased line usually transmit data to YTM with the IEC870-5-101 protocol at a speed of 19,200 Kbps.

Other communication devices within the scope of TEIAS communication requirements are SDH and MULTIPLEXER (digital multiplexer) systems operating via OPGW cable. Uninterrupted, reliable, high-speed (STM1, STM4, STM16, STM64) communication infrastructure is established between the substation and the switchgear center to which it is connected with SDH and digital multiplexer systems. High-speed Ethernet, E1 and low-speed audio-data channels (E&M, FXS, FXO, Co-Dir, RS232) are transmitted via established SDH and Multiplexer systems.

Another part of communication requirements is the Teleprotection system. Communication of distance protection relays in substations is provided via Teleprotection devices installed on OPGW systems. Teleprotection devices provide a dry contact communication interface for communication with relays. Teleprotection devices have 8 inputs and 8 outputs. The signal from one tarfta input comes out of the output on the other side and triggers the relay through the dry contact. In this way, the system completes itself.

While communication infrastructure is provided within the scope of Teiaş Communication Requirements, a Signal List is prepared and presented to Teiaşa within the scope of Teleinformation Plan to be presented to Teiaşa for RTU Communication. This Signal List includes the content, details and addressing of the signals. After confirming the Teiaş signal list, it logs into the system database. After the whole system is ready by making an appointment with Teiaş at the last point, point-to-point tests are introduced. Point-to-Point tests consist of simulation testing and real value testing. After all the tests are successful, Teiaş edits the report and the installation of the system is complete.
