Interface Converters
To use existing services with cost-effective, there are so many interface converters that existing Systems can work with new systems. For the existing classical old systems there are SDH equipments that are giving E1 interfaces over Fiber Optic cables. You have only E1 interface but you need Ethernet services, Voice services(E&M, FXS, FXO), low speed data services like Async RS232, Sync V.35…etc
E1 – V35 converter
Standards of data communications are uniformed. But multiple standards are sometimes created to the same purpose, how to ensure communication between equipment from different vendors. Interface Converter can meet this requirement, for example, V.35, E1 have little function difference, but they are different in electrical and physical characteristics. RC903/4-
V35FE1 is Interface Converter between V.35 and E1 interface with selectable data rate of n*64k and transmit timing source. Error detection procedures are supported by loop-back function. It provides a solution of remote connection of routers, and it’s a common equipment in WAN.

Ethernet over E1 Converter
At the Transmission systems, there are E1 interfaces that work on fiber cable. At these SDH-Transmission systems so many applications need to use different interfaces like V.35. At SDH E1 interfaces, if you want to use Ethernet connection you must use E1-Ethernet converters.
